Currently the team consists of 4 ophthalmologists, 5 technicians, 4 student assistants, 2 receptionists and a maintenance man. The clinic is fully equipped and offers all state of the art treatments. The majority of our patients are dogs and cats, but we see rabbits, guinea pigs, other rodents, birds and exotics on a regular basis as well as few horses.
The job meets all requirements for a good work - life balance. The clinic is located in one of the best residential areas in the south-west of Berlin close to the veterinary faculty of the University. It is very convenient to reach the city center.
The work-schedule is well-regulated, there are no night and emergency duties while the salary is superior.
Ideally you are already specialized in ophthalmology (diploma or national specialization) or you have a hight interest in ophthalmology. Active participation in clinical research as well as preparing scientific publications is expected. An ECVO residency training is possible. Speaking the German language is necessary so if you do not speak German you must be willing to learn it timely.
