The Qualifying Examination Unsuccessful candidates

Feedback is given to unsuccessful candidates within 4 weeks of the notification of the final results. Unsuccessful candidates are provided with a detailed breakdown of their MCQ and/or slide examination results in order to aid future revision. Unsuccessful candidates can also request their individual marks and the pass mark for each failed section of the exam.

If a candidate fails any portion of the examination, this portion alone needs to be retaken; each section of the examination is considered independently with respect to re-examination.
Candidates may sit each section of the examination up to a maximum of four times.

To reapply, step 3 needs to be repeated by re-submitting the following forms:
• Form B.
• Examination fee(s) for the relevant part(s) of the examination.

Contact information and deadlines can be found under the section “Overview”

Candidates who are not successful and believe they have grounds to file an appeal are advised to consult Article 9 in the Constitution & Bylaws for further information.
