The Qualifying Examination Adjustments to the ECVO qualifying examination

The ECVO is committed to ensuring equitable and appropriate accommodations for all examination candidates, including those with disabilities. Special arrangements will be provided in accordance with the Dutch Act on Equal Treatment on the Basis of Disability or Chronic Illness, provided they do not impose a disproportionate burden on the ECVO.

To be considered, candidates must submit appropriate medical documentation in English that clearly outlines their condition, specific needs, and the adjustments requested. It is the candidate’s responsibility to provide detailed and specific information about their circumstances for the ECVO to understand their particular circumstances and offer appropriate adjustments.

All requests for accommodations must be submitted in writing to both the ECVO Secretary and the Chair of the Examination Committee no later than 1st July of the year preceding the examination. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure their request is submitted on time and includes all necessary information. Requests that do not meet these requirements will not be accommodated.
