I graduated from the University of Vila Real e Tras os Montes (Portugal) where I also completed a one-year general internship. After a few years in general practice (both in Portugal and the UK), I undertook an ophthalmology internship at Rowe Referrals Eye Clinic and stayed there as a trainee ophthalmologist. I recently obtained my Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology and I joined Dick White Referrals in June 2019 to start my residency program under the supervision of James Oliver.
