I graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2021. After gaining experience as a general practitioner, I completed a rotating internship at the Fundació Hospital Clínic Veterinari UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). My interest in veterinary ophthalmology then led me to the UK, where I undertook an ophthalmology internship at Optivet Referrals. I subsequently returned to the Hospital Clínic Veterinari UAB to complete a second, two-year ophthalmology internship. In September 2026, I started an ECVO residency in veterinary ophthalmology at the same institution, under the supervision of Marta Leiva, Teresa Peña and Rita Vilão. Outside of veterinary ophthalmology, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, climbing and reading.
