My name is Victoire Laurent and I graduated from Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia, Spain, in 2024. Shortly after graduation, I moved to Montreal, together with my cat, to start a new adventure in Canada. I first completed a rotating internship in a private veterinary clinic, where I discovered my growing passion for ophthalmology. This led me to pursue an ophthalmology internship at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vétérinaire (CHUV) in Saint-Hyacinthe. I am now very excited to start my first year of residency in veterinary ophthalmology under the supervision of Dr. Maria Vanore and Dr. Cécile Briffod. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places with the people I love, and whenever I can, I try to spend as much time as possible in the water — especially diving, surfing and other water sports.
