My name is Bar Fruchter. I graduated from the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, in 2022. Following graduation, I completed a one year rotating internship and subsequently pursued 18 months of specialty internship training in veterinary ophthalmology at the Hebrew University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. During this time, I was involved in both clinical and research activities. In June 2026, I joined the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ECVO) residency program at IVC-Evidensia in the Netherlands under the supervision of Christiane Görig. Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy traveling, cooking, exploring new cultures, and spending time with family and friends.
