My name is Ellen Mighell and I graduated from the University of Sydney in 2021. After graduation I spent a year in rural mixed practice before moving to the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) in Sydney, where I completed a rotating internship. I then undertook an internal medicine internship, during which I successfully completed my Small Animal Medicine Membership examinations with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. Following this I transitioned to an ophthalmology internship, which led to commencing my ophthalmology residency at the same institution. Outside of work you will usually find me coaching on a softball field or spending time outdoors with family and friends.
