My name is Alkiviadis Polychroniadis and I graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2016. Following graduation, I worked in both farm animal and small animal general practice for seven years before pursuing my interest in veterinary ophthalmology through an ophthalmology internship at the Eye Veterinary Clinic. In 2026 I began my ECVO residency at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Prof. Claudia Hartley. Outside of work I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, especially hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, camping and socialising with friends.
