After graduating from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2019, I moved to the UK to complete an equine internship at a busy referral hospital, where I stayed as an ambulatory equine vet. As my interest in ophthalmology grew, I decided to pursue further specialist training and, in January 2023, began an 18-month ophthalmology internship at Optivet Referrals. I then spent a few months at Rowe Referrals before returning to Optivet in March 2025. Since then, my time has been equally divided between the small animal and equine ophthalmology services. After more than a year in this role, I was given the opportunity to begin an ECVO residency in July 2026 at Optivet Devon. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, family and exploring the countryside.
