I graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2014. Afterwards, I worked a few years in a busy veterinary hospital in Barcelona. Over all these years, I completed a post-graduate degree in veterinary ophthalmology at the UAB (2015) and I attended the Basic Science Course at the University of North Carolina (2018). Shortly after, I completed a rotating small animal internship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the UAB in 2019 and a veterinary ophthalmology internship at Anicura Ars veterinaria referring hospital (Barcelona) in 2020, where I stayed as a trainee ophthalmologist. Over the years I have also done externships in referrals centres across the UK and presented in national and international congresses. Finally, I joined Optivet Referrals in May 2022, where I undertook a veterinary ophthalmology internship and I have now started my ECVO residency program in February 2024, under the supervision of Joy Ioannides, Daniel Costa, Prado Cebrian and Marta Portillo. Outside of work I enjoy travelling, outdoor activities such as hiking and running, as well as going to the gym.
