My name is Irene Cancelli and I graduated in 2018 at the veterinary school in Milano, Italy. I worked in general practice for two years during which I matured my interest in ophthalmology and I started a fellowship with Dr. Laura Barachetti. In 2020 I undertook a one year internship in Emergency and Critical Care at Istituto Veterinario di Novara, during which I also followed the ophthalmology department. I joined the Polo Oculistico Veterinario as an Intern in Ophthalmology in 2021 and I started a Residency Program in October 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Laura Barachetti.
