I graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno, Czech Republic in 2013. After a brief period of small animal practice and equine internship in Germany, I have moved to Switzerland to pursue career in ophthalmology. In 2019, I have obtained Swiss veterinary doctoral degree from the University of Zurich focusing on advanced retinal imaging. In 2020, I have successfully defended my thesis in pharmaceutical research - ophthalmic pathology and toxicology - and was awarded PhD degree in veterinary pathology at the University of Liverpool. In 2019, I have moved back to Germany to work in the Animal Eye Clinic in Berlin where I have started my residency training program under the supervision of Dr. Ingrid Allgoewer in November 2020. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and mushing sports.
