I graduated from the University of Madrid in 2013, where I developed a passion for veterinary ophthalmology. During my final years as a student I was awarded a 2 year scholarship in ophthalmology at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the same University. After graduating I moved to the UK where I worked for two years in a busy small animal hospital. In 2016, I completed a 12 month rotating small animal internship at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service. After a brief return to first opinion practice I returned to Willows in December 2017 to undertake an ophthalmology internship. I started my residency in December 2018 at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service. Outside of work I enjoy photography, mountain biking, travelling around the world, and in particular discovering new places in the UK.
