Following graduation from the University of Liverpool in 2005, Georgie spent 3 years in general practice before moving into referral ophthalmology practice at Optivet Referrals Ltd. Having gained her RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2011 she moved to Davies Veterinary Specialists in March 2012 to undertake an ECVO residency program. Georgie remained at Davies following her residency and became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2016. She was admitted to the BVA/KC/ISDS Eye panel in 2018 and joined the ECVO Communications Committee the same year. In 2020 Georgie relocated her family to the beautiful Suffolk countryside and joined the Ophthalmology team at Dick White Referrals. Her particular interests include corneal and intraocular surgery which she enjoys teaching to residents.
