Dr Premont is a native of Reunion Island who obtained her veterinary degree at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia in 2003. Following two years spent in small animal practice in Darwin (Northern Australia), she did a small animal internship combined with a Masters degree in bacterial molecular biology at the University of Melbourne. Dr Premont then completed a 4-year residency combined with a Masters degree in ophthalmology at the University of Liege, Belgium and became a Diplomate of European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. From 2013-2017, she worked as a Veterinarian Ophthalmologist in the United Kingdom. In 2017, Dr Premont moved back to Australia and joined the Ophthalmology Service at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital, Sydney Australia, where she works as a Senior Clinician in Ophthalmology.
