Ingrid is from The Netherlands and obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Utrecht. She has worked in general practice in Scotland for 2 years then completed her internship and residency in Utrecht, The Netherlands. She took her certifying examination in 2010 in Maisons Alfort and became a member of the ECVO that same year. She has published work in the topics of cataract, and peri- and retrobulbar abscessation. She did a research project on the treatment of cherry eye and is currently working on a case report of corneal mycobacteriosis in a cat. Since 2014 she works in the south of France in Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire Languedocia.
