I graduated in 2010 from Freie Universität Berlin, in Germany. Then I started working in a private horse clinic and later in a mixed private practice. Having a strong interest in ophthalmology, I started a Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in Frankfurt in 2016, which I completed in 2018. In 2017 I successfully defended my doctoral thesis. Since November 2017 I started working at the ophthalmology department at Freie Universität Berlin, where I started my residency in 2019 under the supervision of Corinna Eule.
